Mole Removal

Our advanced Picosecond Laser technology offers a noninvasive approach for the cosmetic treatment of many benign-appearing moles and pigmented skin lesions. Using ultra-short pulses of energy, the laser precisely targets pigment within the lesion while minimizing heat to the surrounding skin. This technology helps break down pigment particles so the body can naturally eliminate them over time, promoting smoother, clearer-looking skin with minimal downtime. Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation to evaluate whether the lesion is appropriate for cosmetic laser treatment.

The Experience

Our advanced Pico Second Laser technology for Mole Removal is a non-surgical procedure that uses plasma energy to safely and effectively remove benign moles from the skin. This treatment is ideal for patients looking for a minimally invasive option without the need for cutting, stitches, or prolonged downtime.

Procedure Overview:

Consultation

The procedure begins with a consultation to assess the mole(s) and determine if they are suitable for removal using Pico Second Laser technology. It’s essential that the mole is benign and not suspicious of malignancy.

Application

The Picosecond Laser delivers ultra-short pulses of energy directly into targeted pigment within the skin. The handpiece is gently applied over the treatment area, where the laser energy precisely breaks down pigment particles while minimizing impact to the surrounding tissue. Treatments are typically quick, minimally invasive, and designed to support smoother, clearer-looking skin with little downtime.

Preparation

On the day of the procedure, the area around the mole is cleansed. A topical anesthetic is applied to ensure comfort during the treatment.

Treatment Duration

The procedure typically takes 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of moles being removed.

Post-Treatment Care

After the procedure, a small scab will form over the treated area. It’s essential to keep the area clean and dry while it heals. The scab usually falls off within a week, revealing fresh skin underneath. Patients are advised to avoid sun exposure and follow any aftercare instructions provided.

Results

The treated area may appear slightly pink for a few weeks as it heals, but the skin will gradually return to a normal tone. The mole is permanently removed, leaving a smoother skin surface.
